December 30th

The exterior footing and sub-walls are now complete as are many of the interior footings. Some of the underground plumbing has been done as well. It was a great day to be out on the site!

December 28th

Progress continues !! Here are the forms for a set of the interior footings. With the great weather this week, there is lots of concrete work being done. Keep the guys on the job site in prayer !!

December 23rd


My nephew Zac and I hiked out the the job site to check out the south wall (the main entrance) of the church. Yep.... its pretty cold but it looks like by next week the footings and foundation will all be in place.

December 20th



This is the south wall looking east toward Swanson School. All four walls are now underway. This end of the building will be the prayer room, the library, and the pastor's counciling room.

By the end of the week the exterior foundations should all be poured.

It is starting to take shape !!

December 16th


The footings for the West wall are now in..... This is looking north toward where the sanctuary will be.

 

December 14th


These are the footings for the Children's Ministry entrance on Sunday mornings. It will also be the main entrance for our Early Childhood Program (ECP) that will use the building Monday - Friday.

The forms have been set in place to form the base of the East wall of the building. This is taken from the south looking north. Looks pretty cold and desolate right now !

December 6th

Imagine sitting in the cafe' with a friend drinking a cup of coffee. Looking out the window you see the center island in the parking lot and beyond that Swanson School. It may seem like a long way off, but in October of 2007 this will be a reality.

December 2nd



Brrrr. It looks much warmer that it really is! The whole parking lot has been covered in crushed rock as a base layer. The curbs and parking lot light pole bases are ready for the poles themsleves.
