May 30th
The first part of the sidewalk has been poured. This is looking toward Swanson School and runs beside the parking lot.
May 29th
The windows in the cupola over the chancel are now in place. This will allow light to cascade down over the cross and onto the "V" back wall. At the same time the "V" back wall has been covered with a textured block and the support structure for the cross is in place. We will soon be able to see how this really looks on the inside.Friday, May 25, 2007
May 25th
The cross at the main entrance in now also in place. It will be the same color at the cross you see from the driveway. Inside, the painters have added a spash of color to each of the children's classrooms. One wall in each of the rooms is a bold "accent" color. This you have to see in person to appreciateMay 23rd
The cross on the west wall of the church is now in place. It will not be red (that is the primer) but it is up and very visible from Ironwood
May 21st
The block in the sanctuary is going up. This is the right side of the sanctuary as you are walking in. The far left of the picture is the center of the sanctuary. If you look close, you will see a cross hanging over the chancel area that is being used to get the location for the wooden cross that is being fabricated.Thursday, May 17, 2007

The opening for the stained glass window is framed in with the block now. This is what you see as you are driving onto the property. Just to the left of the window will be a tall cross mounted to the building. It just arrived on site yesterday.Wednesday, May 16, 2007
May 16th
Walls are being painted in the Children's Wing !! There are so many different things happening all at once. Thankfully, the storms did not hit our site very hard last night and there was no wind damage. May 14th
The Cafe kitchenette is being sheetrocked now. This will be a focal point for those who enter the church and will become a fantastic gathering point for all.Friday, May 11, 2007
May 11th
This is looking from the welcome area towards the cafe. The curved wall in the ceiling is a soffet that will be over the walkway to the back of the building. To the right of the soffit the ceiling will be higher to give a lighter, more open feel to the seating in the cafe area.May 9th
The Masonry team is now working on the South Wall of the church. There is so much activity that it is hard to keep up with pictures of the progress. Inside, the Children's wing rooms have been sheetrocked, taped, sanded, and are almost ready for the primer coat of paint.Monday, May 07, 2007

This is taken from behind the sanctuary. The area that is yellow now will be covered with a textured material that will be an off white color. The colors of the finished materials look much better in person that in this picture.Thursday, May 03, 2007
May 3rd
There are 45 guys working today. It is quite a site to see all the different things being accomplished. However, what caught my eye the most this morning was the Split Face block that has been started. They are starting on the west wall of the building and it is visible from Ironwood road. Check it out next time you drive by!
