Jun 29th
The chancel steps are being framed in (foreground) and the choir loft is being framed in (background). There is a lot of activity in the sanctuary now as the crews that were working in the children's wing are now working here.
Jun 28th
This is the hallway as you enter the children's entrance. This now has all the ceiling tile and lights in place. The hallway will eventually be carpeted which will finish it out.

The vinyl flooring (which covers 1/2 of each of the classroom floors) is going down now. The accent color squares pick up the color of the accent wall in each room.Tuesday, June 26, 2007
Jun 26th
Ceiling tiles have been put in many of the children's wing rooms. The rooms are looking much more finished now and it won't be long before the cabinets and flooring are installed.Jun 25th
We have lights in the children's wing! And we got the ceiling inspection completed so we can start putting up the ceiling tiles. It really brightens up the rooms and highlights the accent wall colors.

Here is a better picture of the pond. It is graded, lined with clay and ready to be filled with water. The topsoil has been spread around and is ready to be seeded. The fountain is ordered and a plan has been developed for filling it up.

June 22nd
We are now driving on asphalt into the church. No more dirt and gravel roads. The grading for the pond is nearly done and the fountain for the pond is on order. This will hopefully be a great view from the road.June 21st

What you see is our new 7-1/2' Yamaha Grand Piano. It was delivered last week to Shirks Piano. Marilyn took a few minutes on Monday to stop by and play a few songs........ amazing. We can't wait to hear this at Clay North.... Friday, June 15, 2007

This was taken as you exit the property and look south (left). Ironwood is being widened to add a deceleration lane to make it safer for cars pulling into Clay North.June 13th
The first of the flooring has been installed. This tile is in the women's restroom by the infant and nursery rooms. We set a new record for the number of construction workers onsite: 61 (the old record was 54). They are working hard to catch up the time lost due to the wet and then bitter cold winter.Tuesday, June 12, 2007

The binder layer of the parking lot is being put into place. The whole parking lot is done and they are finishing up the drop off lane that goes by the entrances. They also completed the drive from the gate up to the church and will soon be working on widening Ironwood to allow for traffic to go around those slowing down to pull into Clay North.Jun 9th

This is one of 11 children's classrooms that will serve both for Sunday morning Sunday School and mid-week preschool. Each room has it own accent color. The grid for the ceiling tiles is up now in most of these rooms.Jun 1st
